School in Session

This morning, I began my third semester at Libert Theological Seminary... Oh my, it's gonna be tough! I'm taking two classes..... Old Testament Survey and Evangelism: Church Growth. I'm super excited about these classes becuase the old testament course is one that I didn't fair well in last semester... You see, HJIV was born right in the thick of it and with him being a newborn, it was super difficult to balance life with a new life in the family.... So I get another chance to rock the class and show my professor what i'm made of! The other course well help me to understand effective church growth, I'll grab a deeper perspective of it from the eyes of Apostle Paul and Peter who were front men in the birth of the first Church!

What am I doing!??

I am so confused about what I'm supposed to be doing! I mean wow... You go to school, get a degree, go back to school, get a degree, then back in school again and get a degree only to find that what you were searching for all that time doesn't motivate you to take over the planet and create a legacy!

People have told me time and time again..." You have such amazing gifts! You're going to do some great things!" But I am faced with the decision to pursue my destiny or get a 9 to 5, only to be temporarely unhappy. I work in the ministry 7 days a week. I get calls everyday about faith-based work, counseling, or things that need to be done at the church... It's been the force of my life over the last 4 years .... Could it be that I really enjoy church-work. That Corporate America isn't my cup of tea? That the world of politics doesn't include HJ3? Only time will tell....
